The objective is to get as many cumulative views of the GRIM REAPER trailer as possible. You must upload the trailer to your own YouTube Channel first, NOT TO ANY OTHER SITE, and promote with Myspace, Facebook, websites, Twitter, and blogs by embedding/ linking to your YouTube upload…anything goes. Send out links to your sites, to friends, and to family and ask them to spread the link around.

To enter the contest, start by downloading one or all of the following GRIM REAPER Trailers (.mp4). (Right click the link and Save File As)

GRIM REAPER - Queen (83MB)
GRIM REAPER - The Marmalades (20MB)
GRIM REAPER - Rolling Stones (20MB)

After that, upload the trailer(s) to your own YouTube Channel and e-mail stremblay@variancepublishing.com a link to your YouTube video(s) when active so we can keep track of how many hits you have. (If you don't email your YOUTUBE link(s) here, you will not be considered part of the contest! So don't forget.).

IMPORTANT:
Be sure to be unique and eye-catching with your titles (ie. it is highly recommended that you DO NOT LABEL ANY OF THEM Grim Reaper - book trailer, nor should it be anywhere within the video discription). Not only do you want your video to stand apart from the other contestants and draw people in, but you do not want YT to catch on that we are uploading the same video repeatedly prematurely ending our contest).

CONTEST ENDS ON JANUARY 1st, 2011

Winners will be determined by your final view tally for the GRIM REAPER trailer. Winners will be announced on this website and in Steve Alten’s monthly newsletter. Grand prize winners will be asked to send in their bios and descriptions to be used in the next MEG book. (and whether you want to be eaten!)
